Allegheny Autumn

The Allegheny region of the Appalachian Mountains is an area rich in natural beauty, and cultural and national history. The western mountains of Garrett County, Maryland are just a few hours drive from some of the biggest population centers in the Mid-Atlantic states, but it is still an easy place to go to find a peaceful hike. This creative photograph of the Savage River near Luke, Maryland, was made in October, 2023 using the techniques of intentional camera movement and in-camera multiple exposure.
